The Northeast Falcon 500 Cruise Event
Instead of a regional event I am proposing a 500-mile cruise over 3 days, taking place early September 2023.
The start would be at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Participants would arrive the night before.
Day 1: The morning would be visiting the Pocono Raceway (hopefully getting some laps on the track). After lunch the cruse would continue to Bethel Woods, NY (Woodstock Site and Museum). Visit the museum and spend the night in Monticello. Distance 75 miles, about 2 hrs. driving time.
Day 2: Drive to Lime Rock Park (hopefully getting some laps on the track). Distance 105 miles, about 2-1/2 hrs. driving time. Lunch at the track. After lunch drive to Bennington, Vermont and visit the Hemmings Museum spend the night. Distance 80 miles, about 2 hrs. driving time.
Day 3: Drive to Roseboom, New York and visit the Wanamaker Car Museum. Distance 94 miles, about 2 hrs. driving time. Lunch After Lunch drive to Watkins Glen, NY and spend the night. Distance 144 miles, about 4 hrs. driving time.
Day 4: Laps at the racetrack, lunch and return to your home.
