This was our first trip the the Oley Fairgrounds, but not likely our last. With excellent weather the show car area filled by 10:30 when we arrived. At 11:00 they announced that 340 show vehicles had arrived. A record for the show. Oh yeah, registration continued to noon. The first overflow area where we were directed was not bad. It was not far from the entrance and we were able to see show vehicles come and go in front of us. We met up with Bob and Mel Schmehl, owner and driver of Tweet Revenge. They are looking forward to being the featured car at the Keystone Regional this September. Hope you enjoy my walkabout photos below. (Jim Ogram)

The Mad Max machine is a 12 cl, 1,100 ci with at least four turbos that I could see.

Mel drives the 63, Bob the 61. That is Mel sitting next to the red 63.

I know. It is not a Falcon, but who does not like a 58 Ranchero. Said the guy with two 64 Rancheros.

My first car was a 66 Pontiac Tempest. This Concourse quality GTO brings back a lot memories. (Jim)
